SM18H Heated Carpet Cleaning Machine - Dual-Tank Professional Carpet Extractor

We love the quality of the product. You can put it in your hand and know that it will last for many years to come.

I got tired of underperforming machines marketed for residential use and purchased this unit because it was less than half the price of competitors with the same function/power. The unit arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. Day one I cleaned a wool lounge chair, mattress and two sofas and all came out looking good as new. A suggestion to Santimax, while I understand this issue is par for the corse when it comes to extracting machines with heat but far more needs to be done to cover the metal connectors in the hot water line. I burnt myself multiple times just bumping my forearm against it. And the velcro wool cover piece is completely useless and slides down. I could never loan my machine out because its too easy to bump into one of those connectors and get burnt. Not to mention expecting employees to use the machine would. be like a punishment. Its a law suit waiting to happen. Again, I know pretty much all the other extracting machines out there are the same way. If Santimax put in the time effort and expense to design and fabricate a substantial way to prevent contact with those hot parts, they would be superstars.
Other than that, my only negatives are upon arrival missing a screw to connect the handle then a screw pulled right out of the socket, and stripped off the threads because the screws do not extend deep into the threads to hold. Longer screws for the handle assembly are necessary. And a slow drip leak from the location where the hot water tube enters the vacuum tube nearest the connection to the machine. But to be honest, not deal breakers for me.

I’m so glad I bought this backpack vacuum cleaner. Compared to my Dyson at home, its biggest feature is that it can reach almost every corner of the room: air vents, curtains, gaps behind the TV cabinet… even the chandelier on the second floor. Plus, wearing it doesn’t feel tiring at all. I think I’ll probably use it about once a week, so considering that, it’s really a great investment.

Just received the SM421AC, and it looks fantastic! 💪 It’s really powerful. I used it to clean the backyard floor. Initially, I used the Black Burnishing Pad, but later realized that a brush works better on the concrete surface. Next, I plan to use it to wax the house floors. I hope it works just as well.

This machine was really doing the job when after a month it suddenly quit working properly. We contacted customer support and literally got a response on line in 15 minutes. After sending videos to assess the problem a new part was shipped. We received the part in 48 hours. The floor scrubber is up and running and doing a great job cleaning. We are truly impressed and would definitely recommend this machine and company

This thing lays down water, scrubs great and does a decent job picking up the dirty water. My only complaints are; the key switch keeps falling out, so I siliconed it in place, and it doesn't clean very close to walls etc. Overall, this seems like a good piece of equipment.

the scrubber work well, instructions could use some work, water control valve hard to find as instructions are bad, but once you know were it is no problem, battery does last a long time, it does het in the hard to reach area's good, a more adjustable height handle could make it more useful, for getting under large conference tables. the water filters are useless and need to be removed to get enough water to the brush's, the gravity water feed is compromised by these filters, once the filters removed water flow is better and will scrub up good, a good value for the money
